Just give me the sun and a large body of water,

or a hill covered in snow,

a field overwhelmed with flowers,

a place i’ve never known.

I’ve got all the time it seems, to plan my future and start my dreams,

so for now just let me run, let me live so wild and free.

You can come along if you wish, every place i’ll meet you there,

take your time and watch the seasons change,

let me put roses in your hair.

We can eat at restaurants we can’t afford,

sleep beneath the stars and say,

I can die happy knowing that I lived,

I’m glad I chose the sun before the rain.
